Located in the heart of New Zealand, we are particularly well positioned to service the wide number of Crown Research Institutes, government departments and independent research organisations based in the lower North Island. By using our full service commercialisation expertise, organisations with a strong research focus can step directly into a fully functioning commercialisation process without the time and cost required to establish their own.
Expertise is provided on a fee-for-service basis, and helps the organisations we work with to grow a pipeline of ideas that can then get out into the world where they can have impact. Wellington UniVentures Commercialisation Managers work alongside staff from within the research organisation to develop smart ideas into new products and services that will have a real difference to people's lives.
Wellington UniVentures works with a number of organisations across government, health and Crown Research Institutes including Health Innovation Hub, Manaaki Whenua Landcare Research and more to provide professional commercialisation services.
